The new facility raises the standard of care available in the greater Belfast and Lisburn area, with:

The purpose-built and uniquely designed Kilwee Care Home has been fitted out with the most modern and innovative facilities, specially constructed with the needs of residents in mind, to allow ease of movement between rooms, communal areas and the central outdoor courtyard. Each of the 44 rooms is custom designed and tailored to meet the needs of residents. They offer large floor to ceiling picture windows, with views over both the outskirts of the city and onto our courtyard and sensory gardens.

Each room is ensuite, and tailored to our own specifications. The décor is warm and inviting, created to make residents feel at home. Room fittings have been arranged and configured to allow for ease of use and comfort, and all furniture is ergonomically designed.

Courtyards and gardens are designed to maximise sensory awareness among residents. In addition, a specialised sensory suite provides comfort and relaxation for sensory impaired residents.

Personalised care plans will involve active therapy treatment and opportunities for recovery. Where possible, programmes will focus on active rehabilitation, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy.

Kilwee Care Home caters for a wide range of clients, including:
