Construction of a new 85 bedroom Premier Inn Hotel in Bangor has now commenced following receipt of planning permission in May of this year.
The new hotel represents a £7M investment which will provide up to 30 new jobs , when completed and will support 80 jobs during the construction phase . The new hotel scheme shall be built on the former Bangor Leisure Centre site, at Castle Park Avenue located on the edge of the historic Castle Park.
Conway Group recently acquired the site and demolition works shall commence shortly. The hotel is expected to open in late 2018/ early 2019.

Conway Group also has plans to Invest £2m to develop 14 luxury apartments on the site overlooking Castle Park and Bangor Castle.
